A traceable and transparent set of GMP is a legal requirement under European Regulation EC 1223/2009 for any manufacturer selling or distributing cosmetic products to the European Market. It is set to ensure harmonization with consumer health and safety requirements inside the EU, in connection with ISO 22716:2007.
